| Description |
Council has re-branded its municipal signage and is now undertaking a program to stage the roll-out of new council branded signage to replace old signage throughout the municipality.
An audit done in 2020 had identified approximately 241 existing signs of varying types installed at 197 locations throughout the Municipality. The signs had been prioritised and approximately 196 existing signs had to be replaced and supplemented with approximately 200 additional signs at 175 locations over the life of the signage replacement program.
The first and second stages of the signage replacement program has been completed over the last 6 years, with over 200 new signs having already been installed, leaving approximately 196 signs yet to be installed.
The purpose of this Contract is to engage an appropriately skilled, qualified and experienced contractor to undertake the following:
Fabrication, supply, and installation of new Council branded signage throughout the municipality (including the removal and disposal of the existing redundant signs and asset management recording and reporting); and, Reactive and ad-hoc repairs to new signs.
The Contractor shall provide all labour, supervision, management, reports, equipment, consumables and all other necessary accessories and materials to deliver the specified works in accordance with the scope described herein.
